Region Group is deeply saddened to hear the passing of Philip Marcus Clark AO, inaugural Chair of SCA Property Group, who passed away on 9 January 2026.

Phil played a pivotal role in the establishment of SCA Property Group, providing principled leadership and strong governance at a critical stage in the organisation’s formation. As inaugural Chair, he helped lay the foundations that continue to guide Region today, setting high standards of integrity, accountability and strategic oversight.

A highly respected Company Director and lawyer, Phil brought deep governance experience, commercial acumen and sound judgement to his role. His leadership was marked by thoughtfulness, clarity and a steadfast commitment to doing what was right for the organisation and its stakeholders.

These awards continue to celebrate employees who exemplify the standards Phil set and the culture he helped establish.
