Design and Delivery
1. Design & Planning
Weeks 1-4*
Your Design and Delivery Manager (DDM) will contact you by phone to introduce themselves and the design & planning process. They will outline the design and fitout guide, site requirements, timeframes and if required, assist you in appointing a designer.
During the design process, your designer will share drawings with our DDM for review and feedback.
2. Design Approval
Week 5*
The DDM will assist you to ensure your tenancy’s design & fitout drawings align with the requirements of the design and fitout guide, at which point you will be issued a design approval and owner’s consent letter. This is to be sent your council or chosen private certifier to commence applications for the required local authority approvals, such as building approval/permit/certifications.3. Ready for Fitout & Handover
Weeks 6-8*
You will aim to be ready to start fitout at Handover, fitout costs are to be finalised and a shopfitter appointed..
The DDM will liaise with you and your shopfitter to ensure you have all relevant documentation and requirements are fulfilled prior to fitout works commencement.
4. Fitout Works
As agreed in the Lease documentation
The DDM will introduce you to centre Operations Manager (OM) to complete site induction https://kfinductions.frc.solutions.
Once fitout works commences, the DDM and OM will continue to ensure that you and your shopfitter meet all safety, construction and centre requirements while fitting out your tenancy. They will visit site during the fitout and continue to monitor your progress towards completion.
5. Open for Trade
Prior to opening for trade, your DDM will conduct a pre-opening inspection of your shop fitout. When all open for trade obligations have been met, the DDM will email your open for trade confirmation.
6. Post trade
The DDM will continue to work with you on defect rectification to ensure your store meets the approved design and fitout requirements. You are obliged to attend to defects within 14 days post-trade. When all defects are rectified and obligations met, the DDM will issue you the completion certificate.
